A Digital Pathway To Support For Everyone
Times Are Challenging
Residents Are Facing A Wide Range Of Problems
Many citizens fall through the cracks of support services because:
- They don’t feel like they’re right for their situations
- Local support for their situation might not be available
- They want to access support in other ways
It’s Difficult To Know Where To Point Residents In Need
Guiding citizens to help is hard due to the:
- Vast range of personal situations and circumstances
- Fragmented and continually changing service landscapes
- Time needed to research and update service information
How can you offer support for everyone in your community?
Introducing Support Hub
Signpost Communities To Suitable Support
Support Hub is an online directory containing information on thousands of external services including helplines, self-help resources, and support groups for any personal challenge or life event.
“Edinburgh Council provides essential services, and our aim is to provide simple and easy to access information, support and advice for our citizens. Our engagement with NSN has proved invaluable in sharing information that complements Council services and tackles issues that are relevant to people living or visiting the city.
This has been achieved by augmenting our local support network, with comprehensive signposting to a wide range of national support services. This project was delivered quickly and effectively and resulted in a search tool being embedded in the Council’s website.
This directory continues to evolve, with the addition of new services and further focused support. NSN has been an excellent partner, responsive to feedback and actively engaging with the Council as we continue to develop ways to promote this important tool.”
